No way to travel across the globe for Worlds 2023? No worries. Riot might have a solution.
Many of us may not be able to physically travel to South Korea for the 2023 World Championship event. However, Riot recently announced that they plan to offer virtual passes for Worlds 2023, which could be a solution to this problem.
What is the Worlds 2023 virtual pass?
The new virtual pass will be an access pass to a League of Legends esports tournament known as Worlds 2023. Included in the pass will be exclusive skins for Worlds 2023, other virtual products, and physical merch from the event.
There will also be a team-specific version of the virtual pass for fans to access their favorite team’s content and be in exclusive chats with the players and their staff. The ultimate aim of this pass will be to increase and improve the breadth of experiences for fans even if they aren’t in South Korea.

Where can I buy a pass?
Currently, the price and where a virtual pass can be bought for Worlds 2023 are unclear. However, fans are speculating that the virtual passes will be on sale via Riot Games and affiliated teams. More details about the virtual passes can be accessed on the officialRiot Games website.
Will other games get virtual passes?
There are suggestions that VALORANT might introduce a similar virtual pass following the League of Legends version. However, as of now, Riot has not officially announced a virtual pass for other games.
