Week 1’s schedule is here for EMEA VALORANT fans, and it’s already looking like a banger season
The Champions Tour for EMEA has just released its schedule and it is a banger. To all the EMEA fans out there, it’s time to get excited. EMEA VALORANT is back! Here’s the VALORANT EMEA schedule for 2023.
Who is playing?
As the Champions Tour returns for another year, familiar teams will also make a reappearance. A total of 10 teams will compete for the title from across the EMEA region.

With some familiar names have moved teams. Including former Gambit player Ayaz ‘nAts’ Akhmetshin who will be playing on Team Liquid, and former G2 Esports player Wassim ‘keloqz’ Cista who will be playing for Team Heretics.
What is the new schedule?
The new regular season schedule for the EMEA Champions Tour will start at the end of March. With week 1’s schedule fully published for fans to get ahead on the action.
Kicking off on March 27 at 6 pm CET (Central Europe Time), the tour will begin with Fnatic vs GIA. In the usual style, the format for the regular season will be single round robin, while playoffs will be a double elimination bracket.
Additionally, the 2023 season of EMEA Champions Tour will operate under the new format of the 2023 franchise system.

What will be the format for VCT EMEA 2023?
The League matches will kick off in March and continue till May. The tournament will have a round-robin format over eight weeks. Matches will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for seven of the eight weeks. There will be one ‘Super Week’ to finish things off.

You will be able to watch the EMEA tour via theVALORANT Esportswebsite or the VALORANT Twitch stream. Make sure to keep an eye on the times if you are watching from outside of Europe!
TheVCT LOCK//INis currently live with over 30 teams competing in Brazil. The tournament features a single-elimination format that will see half the teams eliminated after Round 1.
Where is G2 Esports?
For anyone who has missed one of the major surprises of the 2023 Franchise system that Riot has bought to VALORANT for 2023, G2 Esports will not be competing in the EMEA franchise.
