Progression inFischis slow, and every time you get a new rod, it will feel like a major milestone. But getting a new rod is only half the fun because you can also enchant it. The question is: Should you? We’re here to answer that with this guide.
We’ll tell you all about how the enchant system works to the best enchants you should use for each rod. By the end of this guide, you should have a very solid understanding of how the system works and even some good rod + enchant combos.

How to Enchant a Fishing Rod in Fisch
Toenchant a rodinFisch, you’ll first need to acquire anEnchant Relic.Enchant Relics can be found with a~1/100 chance anytime youfish(depending on rod/bait Luck, and area) orbought from Merlin at Sunstone Island(-930, 225, -990) forC$11,000after you reachlevel 30.
Mutationson the Enchant Relicsdon’t affect the enchantment process, but they do affect theprice. So,sell all relics worth more than C$11,000and use that money to buy regular relics from Merlin. Exceptions areHexed,Abyssal, and other relics that you will need to unlock theRod of the Depthsand such.
Once you get an Enchant Relic, make your way towardthe Statue of Sovereigntyatnightand enter themines underground. There will be anelevatorthere that needs aTokento work. You canbuy the Tokenfrom theNPC(20, 135, -1135) right next to the elevator forC$400. Note that you’ll need tobuy a new token every time you go down.
Once the elevator reaches the bottom, you’ll be in theKeeper’s Altar. Now, make sure toequip the rod that you want to enchantsince theRelic will be applied to whatever you currently haveequipped. Once you’ve done that,interact with the altarat the end of the room while holding an Enchant Relicto enchant your rod.
