The Twitch Partner Plus Program is set to rebrand and expand as payout and revenue updates hit the platform.
A rare Twitch W? That’swhat many are callingthe updated Twitch Partner Plus program. Come May 2024, it will simply be known as the Plus Program, changing the way Partners and Affiliates make revenue on the platform.
Twitch CEO Dan Clancyput out a memodetailing updates to how streamer payouts work. The three major announcements include the expansion and rebrand of the Twitch Partner Plus Program, eliminating the cap for 70/30 recipients, and making Prime Gaming subscriptions a fixed rate.
Expansion of the Twitch Partner Plus Program
The Twitch Partner Plus program launched in October 2023. It provided direct criteria for streamers on how they can reach a new threshold of revenue. With a shift to the Plus Program, Affiliates are now involved from May 1 onward:
Twitch states that the expansion and rebrand intothe Plus Programallows three times as many streamers to reach a solid point of revenue share from their channel.

Removal of the $100K cap for 70/30 recipients
The next big change, after the Twitch Partner Plus Program, is the cap on 70/30 earnings. Twitch previously capped it at $100K annually for streamers. This means after they earned their first $100K for the year, subs would revert to a 50/50 split.

A fixed rate for Prime Gaming subs for each country
If you have an Amazon Prime account and link it to your Twitch account, you receive a free Prime Gaming subscription token every month. This is where a lot of streamers receive their subscriptions, as viewers need not pay an additional fee to sub to their channel.
Originally, Prime Gaming sub payouts matched the same as regular subscription payouts. That changes on August 23, 2025, as Prime Gaming subs will payouton a fixed rate per country. This change has no impact on the viewer using the Prime Gaming sub, but on the streamer receiving it.
