Release date and pre-order offers revealed

505 Games has released new details regardingSniper Elite 3, including a release date. You’ll be able to take down targets this coming June 27 on PC, with releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 a few days later on July 1st. And, as they did withSniper Elite V2, they’re offering pre-order customers (at GameStop and “other major retailers”) another chance to kill Adolph Hitler in a bonus mission, “Hunt the Grey Wolf.”

The mission (teased by the last trailerreleased for the game) is set in Tobruk, Libya in 1942, currently under Axis occupation. Hitler is making a clandestine visit to the town and has brought a body double along with him. Players will have to explore the environment and determine the real Hitler from the fake before eliminating him. The mission will feature randomized elements, including target identities and locations, so that each playthrough presents a fresh challenge.
