TrumpSC and Day9 enter StarCraft x Hearthstone showmatch
The mayor of Value Town, TrumpSC, will soon face off against Day9 in the legendary StarCast showmatch. StarCast will kick off on Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. PT and feature new cards from the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set! All of the esports action will happen live on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel, with Tasteless and Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski acting as the event’s casters.
Hearthstone players get free Twitch drops and card packs
While fans watch TrumpSC and Day9 duke it out against each other, they’ll be able to earn two Hearthstone card packs through Twitch drops as well. The first freebie will be a card pack from the current expansion — The Great Dark Beyond. As for the second item, it’ll be a golden card pack of the same expansion.
In order to earn these Twitch drops, viewers must first link up their Twitch and Battle.net accounts. Accomplishing this is pretty easy. Simply visit the “Connections” page on Battle.net and click on the “Connect” button located next to the “Twitch” option. Next, just follow the prompts to finish connecting the accounts.
Then, when the StarCast showmatch kicks off Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. PT, head tothe official Hearthstone Twitch channeland watch TrumpSC and Day9’s gameplay.

HearthCraft event features mini-games galore
There will be another event a day after the StarCast one that will result in the same Twitch drops as well. HearthCraft will featurethree teamsparticipating in Hearthstone matches and mini-games. According to Blizzard, these players will also be guest-casting matches with host Simon “Sottle” Welch.
HearthCraft will begin on Jan. 24 at 9 a.m. PT and it’ll be streamed on Hearthstone’s Twitch channel in English plus theSolaryHSchannel in French. The SolaryHS channel will feature Alexandre “Odemian” Leadley as its host.
In total, the StarCast and HearthCraft events will amount to two normal The Great Dark Beyond card packs and two golden The Great Dark Beyond card packs.
