Yep, that’s some Dark Souls right there
At today’s Microsoft gamescom press conference, the general public finally got its first look atDark Souls III, and it certainly looks like a new-genDark Soulsgame.
The trailer showed off several new bosses, multiple large scale environments and a combat system that appeared to be faster paced, more in line withBloodbornethan previousSoulsentries. Many of the character animations were reminiscent of the originalDark Souls, the music was creepy as hell, and there were some interesting lore implications made regarding the undead and their ceremonial robes.
Dark Souls IIIis due out in 2016 and I for one cannot freaking wait.
