The Twin Mag AR returns to Fortnite in the game’s next update
Quite a few popular leakers, including Hypex and Shiina, both announced today that the Twin Mag AR will be returning to Fortnite, alongside some other popular guns, in the game’s next update.
The weapon was first released back in 2023 during Chapter 4 Season 4, and was vaulted directly after that season. Since then, we have not seen the Twin Mag AR return to Fortnite.
Now, with the weapon returning, many are excited about taking on enemies with it.

How to get the Twin Mag AR in Fortnite
The Twin Mag AR does not have any special loot spots on the island. When it was first released, it did have a Mythic variant. However, at the moment, there are no characters set to hold the gun in the next update.
This means that the Twin Mag AR will be floor loot and found in chests in Fortnite. However, its spawn rate is unknown, meaning it could be rare or not.
The gun is a full-auto assault weapon and ranges in rarity from Common to Legendary. With a 5.4 fire rate and a magazine size of 20, this weapon is the ultimate AR for those looking to carry it as their secondary.

When is the update?
Right now, the update is planned to happen sometime next week around August 05, 2025. However, the exact date is unknown. A large majority of the time, though, Fortnite chooses to release their updates mid-week, so keep an eye out for this one.
