Ever since it premiered on Amazon Prime Video,The Boyshas been an immensely popular addition to the superhero genre. In the oversaturated landscape of superhero movies and TV shows,The Boysoffered a new cynical take on the concept of superhuman vigilantes. With its twisted humor and scathing satire of corporate America,The Boysmanaged to both deconstruct the genreand entertain fans.

Last year Prime Video also premieredInvincible, the animated adaptation of the Robert Kirkman comic series. Similar to its live-action predecessor,Invincibleoffered a darker lookat the role of superheroes in our society. WhileDiabolicallooks to be having more fun with the genre than bothThe BoysandInvincible, it’s certainly following in their footsteps, offering an alternative, very R-rated approach to the once wholesome genre.

The Boys Presents: Diabolicalpremieres exclusively on Prime Video on March 4th, 2022.
