This update to TFT’s cosmetic items will go live on May 28.
Teamfight Tactics (TFT) will soon update its cosmetic tiers system. According to Riot Games, this simplification of cosmetic tiers will make them more straightforward and consistent. Here’s what to expect in TFT patch 14.5 and beyond.
TFT cosmetic rarity tiers
Starting inpatch 14.5, TFT will have only four tiers in terms of cosmetic item rarity. These tiers will be standard, legendary, mythic, and prestige. The current rare and epic items will be put into the standard tier. For example, rare and epic Little Legends released prior to patch 14.5 will be part of this category.

In terms of other related changes, patch 14.5 will include improvements to the user experience. The changes to the TFT store and loading screen, for example, will help players better understand their purchases. Meanwhile, theBattle Passscreen will be revamped with each item clearly labeled by rarity and cosmetic type.
