TenZ will continue to be the focal point of the Sentinels roster moving into the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour.
Sentinels is one of several partnered teams heading into the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour. They willrepresent the Americas leagueand have the opportunity to extend their legacy in the esport. The organization first stepped into Valorant on July 17, 2025 and made waves by acquiring Tyson"TenZ"Ngo from Cloud9 just under a year later. With rumors and uncertainty abound regarding next year, TenZ can breathe a sigh of relief with a guaranteed home on the roster.
Sentinels immediately becomes a 2023 VCT favorite by confirming that TenZ is staying on the roster
In true Sentinels fashion,their Twitter accountshared a masterful announcement video. It revealed that one of their superstar players is not going anywhere. The focus on Chamber indicates that he is the Agent TenZ will be playing on the roster. This makes the most sense as his entire VCT NA: Last Chance Qualifier Agent pool was the suave sniper.
Rostermania has been wild in Valorant since the end of Champions. Riot Games confirmed the partnered teams, leaving many players to test free agency in hopes of making the main circuit. If for whatever reason Sentinels decided to part ways with TenZ, he would have become the hottest free agent on the market.
That won’t be the case as he hopes to reach his peak in Valorant once again. As one of the most-watched anddownright most-crackedplayers the game has ever seen, his first chance to show that he’s still got it will be at the 2023 kick-off event in Brazil.

There are still some holes to be filled in the current Sentinels roster
At the time of publication, TenZ joins only Michael “shroud” Grzesiek and the recently signed Zachary “zekken” Patrone as the only active roster members. There are no guarantees that shroud will remain, which makes things even more of a mystery.
The team no longer has any of its core players, unless Sentinels decides to retain them before rosters are made official. TenZ joined on loan from Cloud9 before his full acquisition on June 27, 2025. Despite not being an original member, he may be considered the face of the team at this point. He helped SEN to six straight 1st Place victories, including a championship run at Masters Reykjavik 2021, the first international Valorant LAN.
Sentinels reshaped the coaching staff by bringing on Don “SyykoNT” Muir (ex-XSET) and Adam “kaplan” Kaplan (ex-Ghost Gaming). The two of them more than likely have a say in who will be on the 2023 VCT roster. With initial roster locks on the horizon, expect to see the complete Sentinels team formed sooner rather than later.
