Qiddiya City continues its move into esports and gaming with the appointment of top esports executives.
Several high-level esports executives have revealed new positions on the board of the Qiddiya City Gaming & Esports project. Team Falcon’s Musaad Aldossary, Heroic founder Joachim Haraldsen, and former Team Liquid executive Mike Milanov all announced positions on the advisory board in the past few days.
Team Falcon’sowner, chairman and professional FIFA player Musaad Aldossary, and Heroic founder Joachim Haraldsen announced their involvement in the project on Dec. 15.

Mike Milanov’s announcement was madeon Twitter/X, on Thursday, Dec. 14, stating he would join as chairmen of the board of Qiddiya Gaming.
That announcement came on the same day that multiple high-profile esports personalities endorsed Qiddiya Gaming in aseemingly coordinated social media push.

Several esports personalities including Summit1g, Nickmercs, and Clix have shown their support for a Qiddiya City, a Saudi esports initiative.

As mentioned in that report, Qiddiya City is an “entertainment megaproject” funded by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF). The project aims to create an sprawling entertainment destination that includes amusement parks, shopping districts, and now an gaming and esports district under the banner of Qiddiya Gaming.
Yesterday, Qiddiya Gamingsocials revealed detailsof their upcoming gaming district, a 500,000 sq. meter area in the heart of Qiddiya City, which it claims will be 11-times the size of Japan’s iconic Tokyo Dome. In four separate buildings, the district will reportedly have a capacity of over 73,000 total viewers, and aims to have around 10 million visitors to the site annually by 2030.
If these figures are accurate, it would make Qiddiya Gaming the largest and most-visited gaming and esports venue in the world.
