The adorable cat adventureis setting out very soon. The sci-fi action-adventureStrayfrom BlueTwelve Studio will launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and PS5 on May 27, 2025.
Seen in today’s Sony State of Play, the little cat adventure has been popping up here and there invarious PlayStation streams. We hadconfirmation of a summer windowfor it, but now it seems the lil’ guy is setting out very soon.

It’s a welcome surprise for those who signed up for the service, I suppose.Strayhas been an eye-catcher at most of these streams.
It really takes the concept of stray cat in a sci-fi future and runs with it, leaning into doing all kinds of cat stuff. From hiding in little boxes, to running along ledges, to even the way theStraycat leaps, it’s all frankly adorable.
According to the store page,Strayfollows a lost and lonely cat separated from its family, trying to escape a forgotten city. It’s filled with all kinds of futuristic drones and cyber-denizens, though they seem nonplussed about the cat’s presence. That means sneaking, dodging, and solving mysteries. Plus, befriending an adorable drone pal called B12. Because one cute mascot was clearly not enough forStray.
And in case you don’t have the new next-gen console yet,Strayis confirmed as coming to both generations, PS4 and PS5, as well as PC. Pre-orders are already liveover on the Steam page, where it’s going for a pre-launch discount of $26.99 (down from $29.99).
