‘I wish I knew!’

PSN recently sent out an invite-only questionnaire that invited players to feedback on their most requested features. On that list was the option to change your PSN ID.

Well, according to a recent Q&A with PlayStation bossShuheiYoshida, it turns out that changing PSN ID might not even be possible.

When a fan asked if changing PSN “nicknames” would ever be likely, the official PlayStation France Twitter account said that they were working with engineers to seek a solution (my GCSE French is pretty basic but I think that’s what’s being said… right?!)

But that’s not all.

In a video response, Yoshida said: “I wish I know! We are aware lots of people are asking for the feature, and our engineers have been looking into what they can do.

“As soon as we know, you know, we will let you know, but as of today, we don’t even know if we can ever do it. Hopefully, we will be able to provide that feature in the future.”
