Ol’ Dj CUTMAN, in collaboration with Benjamin Briggs fromPilotwings: Take Flight, has cut a fresh NES remix entitled “Powerglove (It’s So Bad).” It mashes samples from an obscure,After Burner-like shooter calledMig 29 Soviet Fighterwith everyone’s favorite line fromThe Wizard. The result is a very Daft Punk-ish track that’s available to download for the price of “whatever you please.”
Once again, I expect a few commenters to complain along the lines of, “How lazy! It’s just inserting a drum loop on top of a pre-existing song! Anyone can do that!” Oh yeah? Can you?
