Quite the milestone
Much like Finland is very proud ofAngry Birds, Poland (home of developer CD Projekt Red) is proud ofThe Witcher.
So much so, in fact, that Damien Monnier, lead designer of the upcomingGwentgame, has reported that there is going to be an officialWitcherstamp at some point in the near future. Monnier reminded a fan on Twitter that Geralt and his adventures exist outside of the confines of video games, as they’re from the mind of Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, but this particular stamp is in commemoration of Geralt’s gaming appearance.
It’s a big accomplishment for an indie studio, and now all eyes are on Cyberpunk 2077. My guess? They’re going to take their time to ensure the monumental expectations are kept in check.
