Bring your phone to GameStop starting October 21
I haven’t yet taken the time to download thePokémon Passon my phone, but there’s a new reason to do so: players have a chance to snag a Shiny Solgaleo and/or a Shiny Lunala using the free app from October 21 through November 10. Will they see the light of day inSwordandShield? Good question!
In the United States, you’ll have to head to your local GameStop to receive codes for these garish shinies. Just make sure you have the Pokemon Pass installed oniOSorAndroidbefore you head out. Using the code, you may redeem your Mystery Gift inside the applicable 3DSPokémongame.
Pokémon SunandUltra Sunplayers can score a level 60 Shiny Lunala (with the movesMoongeist Beam, Psyshock, Moonblast, and Moonlight). Meanwhile,Pokémon MoonandUltra Moonplayers can claim a Shiny Solgaleo (with the movesSunsteel Strike, Zen Headbutt, Noble Roar, and Morning Sun).
I feel like Lunala looks like aCastlevaniaboss and Solgaleo is straight out ofPower Rangers.
