The Fortnite PlayStation Cup is back, and both core game modes are in the mix this time. With a $250K prize pool, the PlayStation Cup is open to all of Fortnite’s worldwide regions. Beyond the cash prizes, participants can collect a pair of exclusive Sprays. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming PlayStation Cup tournaments.

June 2023 Fortnite PlayStation Cup: Format, eligibility, and schedule

First and foremost, you must reach the Bronze division in each Ranked Mode to be eligible for the PlayStation Cup Battle Royale and Zero Build competitions. Each game mode carries a separate rank so you will need Bronze in both. Otherwise, you will not have access to the tournaments on your PlayStation.

These solo Battle Royale and Zero Build competitions offer everything fans of both game modes could want. Each game mode features two separate Qualifiers. The top 50 Battle Royale and Zero Build Qualifiers teams will advance to the PlayStation Cup Fortnite Finals.

The scoring system remains similar to previous Fortnite tournaments with a slight change. Beginning this month, players can earn points by opening a vault and capturing a rifting-in POI. These are additional methods on top of the traditional elimination and placement points.

Zero Build

How many points do I need to qualify?

Understanding how many points you will need to Qualify for the PlayStation Cup Finals is crucial. In past events, anywhere from 115 to 139 got you inside the top 50. However, that could change with the added objective points.

Can I compete in multiple PlayStation Cup Fortnite regions?

Epic Games clarified that there are two region locks for this tournament; one for Zero Build and one for Battle Royale. Prize pool breakdown + unlockable Sprays

All regions are competing for a combined prize pool of over $250K, with Europe yielding the majority. Those who earn at least eight points in the Battle Royale and Zero Build will unlock the Cuddle Drop and Peely Drop Spray.
