Overwatch 2 Quick Play Hacked Limit 2 explained

Between Nov. 6 and Nov. 10, players can enter the Quick Play Hacked game mode and try out its Limit 2 variant. As the name suggests, this version of Quick Play Hacked lets each team have two players per role. For example, this means your team can have two tanks instead of one.

To access this game mode, simply launch Overwatch 2, select “Play” from the main menu, choose “Unranked,” and select the “Quick Play Hacked” option.

Overwatch 2 Quick Play Hacked Limit 2 details

This game mode is pretty straightforward as the maps and objectives don’t change at all. However, you should remember that tank heroes do not have the Role Queue health passive. Additionally, once you queue into a game, you should select a role quickly if you’re not looking to fill in. Roles have a maximum of two each, but it’s a first-come, first-served setup. Therefore, once a role is capped, you can’t choose that one unless a teammate swaps with you.

The next Quick Play Hacked variation, codename “Kingmaker,” will feature a role limit of two per team. However, any player alone in their role will receive a bonus.

Although Quick Play Hacked Limit 2 and Kingmaker are five-versus-five (5v5) game modes, Blizzard did tease a couple of six-versus-six (6v6) tests. These will arrive in Season 14, and the first of the tests will be a variation of Open Queue. Each team will need to assign at least one player in each role, but no more than three per role.
