According to Overwatch 2 game director Aaron Keller, Clash maps will be removed from the Competitive Play game mode starting in Season 15. This removal will allow the Overwatch 2 team to work on them and improve their experience in ranked gameplay.

“This past year, we introduced Clash, which was inspired by the original Assault maps, but gave players a chance to attack and defend throughout the course of the match,“Keller stated. “Clash has had some really good matches, but we’ve also seen a lot of constructive feedback.”
