PS Now on PC functions with an Xbox 360 pad
For readers unaware, PlayStation Now is available on PC. This allows gamers to stream PS3 games to their computers through the majesty of the internet. This could potentially be a big deal to people who skipped out on console gaming.
Sadly, Sony is mucking up the proceedings with some corporate shenanigans on their website. In the description on the official Sonywebpage, requirements for the service list that you must use a dualshock 4 controller. You can do that by plugging in a mini-usb cable or buying Sony’s brand new wireless adapter.

DToid user, Edinko, has pointed out that this isn’t the case. He has been able to use an Xbox 360 controller and other users are reporting different gamepads work, as well. I’ve found one thread that contains a userclaiminghe has a 360 pad working and athreadon Reddit has instructions for utilizing a dualshock 3 with the service.
I understand if one believes the dualshock 4 is the best way to play games, but to blatantly lie about functionality is just scummy. This is similar to how Sony won’t let you use a dualshock 3 on PS4, despite being able to do so with a PlayStation Vita TV through remote play. Then again, they could always block third party controllers (which would be extra sketchy).
