We now know the cast for Avengers: Doomsday, streamed to millions of viewers and done so simply with names on chairs.
The demise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was greatly exaggerated. They literally just showed the backs of chairs with names on them. And that drew millions of fans to their X stream and on YouTube. By the end of it, and at the time of writing, 18 million people viewed the reveal of the Avengers: Doomsday cast.

Now, is that everyone? Who knows?Marvel is full of surprises, especially when it comes to their movies. We do know more than a couple dozen of stars who will return to their famous roles, some even joining the official MCU for the first time.

Marvel reveals the Avengers: Doomsday cast during lengthy stream
For nearly five-and-a-half hours,Marvel streamed the backs of casting chairsto show who will be on the screen in Avengers: Doomsday. It began with Chris Hemsworth, and at that point, viewers piled in by the millions.
There are some notable omissions, which we’ll get to. But first, here the list of everyone that got a chair during the internet-breaking stream. We’ve also included who they’ve played in the past, which we can assume will be the character they play in the movie:

Back to those that we’re afraid are missing. Could it be for good or for now? There is no Spider-Man, Tom, Tobey, or Andrew. No Hugh Jackman as Wolverine or Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. No Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, or Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner.
And that’s just to name only a small handful of the actors and characters that were not included inthe Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal. Again, they very well could announce more during production, or keep them a surprise. We’ll have to wait and see.
