Console exclusive
Metal Gear Solidcreator Hideo Kojima just formally announced hisnew studio, Kojima Productions (this was also the name of his in-house Konami studio before parting ways with the company).
The above video has Sony’s Andrew House speaking Japanese and Hideo Kojima looking all rugged, bearded, and besuited while he announced Kojima Productions, an independent studio. The first project will be a “console exclusive” — so it should be on PC — in collaboration with PlayStation as many have predicted.
“I will be taking on a new challenge by establishing my own independent studio, and I am thrilled to be able to embark on this journey with PlayStation, who I have continued to work with all these past years,” Hideo Kojima said, offering no details about the project. “I cannot wait to deliver, with PlayStation, a game that will become a compelling franchise.”
