Jeff the Land Shark and Thor will come to the Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test as playable characters, NetEase Games announced on July 25.
Thor and Jeff the Land Shark, however, aren’t available for those playing the Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test just yet. But, they’ll make their way into the game very soon, giving players even more options to choose from in their 6v6 game.

When does Thor and Jeff the Land Shark become available in the Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test?
The two new characters are coming to the game on Saturday, July 27, according to NetEase Games' announcement during a panel at the world-famous2024 San Diego Comic-Con. They’ll make their way into the game after the developers patch the game on July 27.
With the additions of Thor and Jeff the Land Shark, players will be able to choose between 23 heroes and villains until the Closed Beta Test finishes. It’s currently unclear, however, whether they’ll be Duelists, Strategists, or Vanguards.

When does the Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test end?
The Marvel Rivals Closed Beta Test started on Tuesday, July 23, and will conclude on Monday, Aug. 5. This means that players who secured access will have a lot of time to experiment with Thor and Jeff the Land Shark.
