Well, I’m sold.

Magrunner: Dark Pulselooks great if this trailer is any proper indication. I’m in love with the starkly clashing, almost manic aesthetic that smacks of colorful imagination straight out of the PS2 era. Our own Caitlin Cooke caughtMagrunnerat E3 andquite enjoyed it, noting that it isn’t just somePortalclone. And, even if it is, there are worse things to clone. Maybe I’ve managed to avoid most of them, but I have seen relatively few first-person puzzlers emerge inPortal‘s wake anyway.

Magrunneris now available on bothSteamandGOGfor a fair $19.99. PS3 and Xbox 360 releases are slated for September.
