Vanille Velasquez is Vi in new VSinger project
On July 31, the Filipino voice actor Vanille Velasquez revealed she was going to enterher VSinger era as Vi. Vanille is known for her voice acting roles as Neon from VALORANT and Zeri from League of Legends. After her reveal post blew up on X, she revealed she is teaming up withNishiin a new singingproject called ENVY. Nishi Nuggets recently published herVTuber debut on YouTube.
In their announcement post, fans got a closer look at both girls' designs. Vanille’s VSinger character is called Vi and features dark hair, a sleek black outfit, and a purple jacket, while Nishi appears in a stylish black-and-orange ensemble, complemented by her cute, brown hair.
The duo revealed they are going to release a limited animation series with episodes inspired by the songs they will cover, but we don’t know many details about it.

This isn’t the duo’s first musical collaboration. Since 2021, they’ve been releasing covers of popular songs, including tracks from League of Legends’ iconic groups likeK/DAandTrue Damage. Their most recent cover, “What It Sounds Like,” comes from the Netflix animated filmK-Pop Demon Hunters.
