LoL patch 25.S1.2 is coming out on Jan. 23. Some minor changes were already made in the emergency patch launched on Jan. 10 regardless of the Feats of Strength. However, Riot Games' team is not over with fixing some new mechanics and monsters that arrived with the newest season. Swiftplay also had some updates.

Feats of Strength have landed a little too strongly with Riot nerfing the new mechanic’s rewards.

Atakhan
According toRiotPhroxzon, the lead gameplay designer, Voracious Atakhan was “showing up in less than 15% of games.” This is supposed to increase to 25%. His effect’s power will be reduced and the withdrawal kill reward will go from 100 gold and one bloody petal to 200 gold and one bloody petal. Even though Voracious Atakhan has been showing in some competitive LoL games and many people called it “extremely overpowering,” there are still no more updates on Atakhan. “We’ll continue monitoring,” RiotPhroxzon stated.

Bloody roses
Thebloody roseswill also be nerfed. “They’re not a core part of what’s driving gameplay depth in the new package, so trying to put them at the minimum power level that’s still satisfying for them to be picked up,” RiotPhroxzon added. Base XP per petal will go from 25 to 23 and the adaptive force per stack minimum will go from 39 to 34 stacks.
Threshold
Blue Essence, XP, and Homeguard
In the upcoming patch, Blue Essence will be compensated to players — the changes became unviable and wereheavily criticized by the community.
Homeguard, the passive that increases the champion’s movement speed while on the spawn in Summoner’s Rift, will also change to cover the entire platform. However, its duration will be changed from 7 seconds to 6 seconds.
Mel Medarda release
Mel Medarda is finally coming to the game.Hereis her entire kit explained. Her first skin, Arcane Councilor Mel, will also be released on Jan. 23. It will cost 1,350 RP.
Alongside Mel’s skin, the Mythmaker skin line will also be out. It features Jhin, Nami, Jarvan IV, and Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia. After the honor system changes, Shen will be the first champion to receive a Three Honors skin.

Swiftplay
The first major Swiftplay balance patch is aimed at cleaning up some systemic issues and otherwise addressing champion balance outliers. Overall, Riot Games will bring down the late-game scaling from overpowering champions as late-game XP and gold values are much more guaranteed, so those who are normally held down by weaker early games no longer have these weaknesses.
They’re making it so that extra gold earned from champion mechanics does not trigger enemy gold comebacks/bounty adjustments.

Aram
Hello, ARAMers! In this patch, Riot Games is focusing on shifting modifiers to champion spells for two beloved champions: Sett and Sona. On Sett, some of the W damage will be redistributed to other skills so they can also be used. As for Sona, some of her Ability Haste will be increased by reducing the effects of her passive while restoring some of her damage and shielding power.

ARURF is back for those in the back who asked for it! It will take place on the Noxus map with some changes to make up for the increased URF pace.
