ConsideringLego Dimensionshas a variety of different expansion packs thateach offer a different kind of content, here’s what Wave 7 will specifically offer:
The headline franchise for Wave 7 is of course theHarry Potterspin-off movieFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is set in wizarding world of the USA rather than England. Sonic and the Gremlins are taking supporting roles in this wave. PoorE.T.only gets a Fun Pack, a tad overshadowed by more of the popular supplementary packs forAdventure TimeandFantastic Beasts.

Considering Wave 7 will beLego Dimensions' big holiday retail push, it’s no surprise to seeFantastic Beasts and Where to Find Themfeatured so prominently. With the profound success of theHarry Pottermovies, the spin-off is near guaranteed to be a huge holiday hit. That said, it isn’t at all a coincidence that the Lego sets come out the same day as the movie launches, so there are sure to be plenty of gamers excited by the release.
The supporting packs of Wave 7 are a bit surprising, though.Sonic the Hedgehogmaintains a certain popularity but isn’t exactly surging right now, and bothGremlinsandE.T.will have trouble hitting it off with a generation that’s likely to have never seen the movies. Nevertheless,Lego Dimensionsseems to be finding success in odd placeswith its toy releases up until now. Who knows what will find a home on the platform next?
Lego Dimensionsis currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
