Why Fans Are So Excited For The Culling Game Arc
With Great Fights, It’s Hard Not To Get Hyped
The ending ofJujutsu Kaisenseason 2 was nothing short of a game-changer. With Gojo being sealed away and the deaths of several fan favorite characters, the Shibuya Incident lived up to the high expectations of fans. More than just a thrilling season, though, the Shibuya Incident set up several plot points that fans have been dying to see the conclusion of.
Specifically, two of the biggest lingering questions from the end of season 2 are what will happen to Yuji now that Gojo is no longer around to protect him and how will the presence ofJujutsu Kaisen 0hero Yuta shake things up? Yuta isone ofJujutsu Kaisen’sstrongest characters, so the fact that he’s going to be facing off against Yuji and Choso is a horrific and exciting prospect.

In addition to where season 2 left fans, season 3 also has a lot of hype behind it because it is adapting the Culling Game arc. This arc is the series' first real tournament arc and introduces a handful of powerful characters that fans have been waiting to see come to life.

Though theHidden Inventory / Premature Deathfilm is a compilation, it does contain a few new scenes, meaning fans may want to give it a watch even if they’ve already seen the equivalent season 2 episodes.
WhileJujutsu Kaisenseason 3 still doesn’t have a release date, the fact that it is far enough in production that the voice actors have seen footage is quite encouraging. Fans can only hope thatJujutsu Kaisenseason 3 is eyeing a 2026 release, and not 2027.
