Give The Crew a chance
While I wasn’tall that thrilledwith this month’s Games with Gold lineup (Defense Grid 2,Costume Quest 2,GRID 2, andPeggle), the next batch of free-with-Xbox-Live-Gold titles speaks to me.
Gold members will be able to downloadGoat Simulatoron Xbox One throughout June andThe Crewfrom June 16 to July 15. The former is a silly thing I’d say is worth trying, for free, and the latter is an open-world racing game I didn’t care at all about for the longest time but ended up eventually digging. Its condensed, bizarro United States map is worth driving across at least once.
On Xbox 360, it’sSuper Meat Boyfrom June 1 to June 15, and thenXCOM: Enemy Unknownfrom June 16 to June 30. Two great games that are still worth seeking out if you somehow missed them. They’ll also be playable on Xbox One via backward compatibility, if you want to go that route.
