One of the odder bonuses in the originalResident Evil 2was the ability to unlock a scenario where you played as a giant piece of tofu. It was silly, crazy and also ridiculously hard. In an interview with Trusted Reviews,Resident Evil 2’sproducerYoshiaki Hirabayashi confirmed that not only will the tofu be making a return, but Hunk as well.
“Of course! Yes!Both the Fourth Survivor and Tofu modes will be included in the game,” Hirabayashi stated. It is unclear if the previous unlock stipulations will apply, but this confirmation is sure to please fans that were upset at how “realistic” this remake was looking. It seems Capcom hasn’t forgotten how to have fun with its franchises.
Really, though; a hyper-realistic piece of tofu should be hysterical.
