If you’ve been playingFFXIVfor a while, you’ll be no stranger to Custom Deliveries. They’re not only a rich source of EXP for your crafting and gathering classes, but they’re also full of additional lore. As part of the 7.15 update, the first Custom Delivery NPC has been added — Nitowikwe.
Nitowikwe is a female Hroth’gar who lives in Shaaloani, and we already know at least some of her storyline thanks to her involvement in the main story ofDawntrail. We also know that by working through her storyline and delivering her requests, we’ll be able to get our hands on a very nice glamor set.
Because of this known reward, it’s definitely worth going through the effort of unlocking Nitowikwe’sCustom Deliveriesand completing her requests and storyline. Custom Deliveries are also always 10 levels below the maximum level for any expansion, so they’re an excellent way to level both your crafting and gathering classes to the maximum level.
With all of that in mind, here’s how to unlock Nitowikwe as well as everything you need to know about her quests.
How to unlock Nitowikwe in Final Fantasy XIV
Before you can unlock Nitowikwe, you’ll need to have ticked off everything on the following checklist:
While equipped as a crafting or gathering class that’s at least level 90, speak to the Railroad Employee close to the main Aetheryte Plaza in Tuliyollal (X:14.1, Y:12.1) to pick up the level 90 quest called “Laying New Tracks”.
You’ll immediately be sent off to Shaaloani Railroad Station, which is best accessed via the Sheshenewezi Springs Aetheryte. When you get there, talk to Shenza (X:19.7, Y:16.6) then go directly back to Sheshenewezi Springs to talk to Wawlika in the main Railroad Office. To prevent Nitowikwe from having to step down as the train’s driver, it’s up to us to keep the Railroad sufficiently stocked.
After unlocking her, Nitowikwe can be found near the Sheshenewezi Springs Aetheryte at (X:14.3, Y:19.3). She’ll be here at all times, and you’ll be able to hand in six deliveries per week to get some precious EXP, Gil and Crafters’ or Gatherers’ Scrips, depending on your chosen class.
There are also two new vendors that are helpful in completing Nitowikwe’s Custom Deliveries, both of which are located next to her:
After every 12 deliveries, you’ll increase your satisfaction level with Nitowikwe and unlock a new recipe to make for her (or an item to source, if you’re working on a gathering class). After reaching Satisfaction Level 5 with Nitowikwe, you’ll be able to pick up a second quest in her storyline and be one step closer to getting the Dawnblazer glamour set.
