The practice mine-fulness task is asking you togo mining and earnGems.This can be done by using yourRoyal Pickaxetomine rock nodesaround Dreamlight Valley, Eternity Isle, and Storybook Vale.
The tricky part of this task is that not all rock nodes drop Gems. Other materials that drop from mining, like Coal Ore, Copper, Iron Ore, Zinc, and Stone, don’t count for this task. Only items listed under the official Gem category on the Collection page work for this one.
Any rock node you come across has a chance of having some Gems inside, but only the ones that have bright, colorful Gems sticking out of them are guaranteed to have them. Luck plays a large role in how easy or difficult it is to acquire them.

Finishing this task gets you 20 Tokens to spend in the event, which is a pretty substantial amount for how easy this task is to get done, as long as luck is on your side.
