Every time Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 receive a major update, there seems to be a myriad of errors that players face. One of those that can prevent you from playing either MW2 or Warzone 2.0 is the Dev Error 11152.

Typically, dev errors trigger after large updates, but that’s not always the case. The errors, including Dev Error 11152, advise you of broken or corrupt files with your copy of MW2 or Warzone 2.0. This can happen on either console or PC and often requires a full reinstallation of the game.

It is an annoying issue, but most unavoidable. Unless you are actively trying to corrupt your files, then the dev error appearing is more than likely not your fault. And unfortunately, there’s only one long term solution for the issue.
Follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall MW2 and Warzone 2.0:

To reinstall either game, you may go to the shop of your respective console or the games library on PC where you originally had it downloaded. Choose to download the game again and follow the prompts to sign in. That will ensure all of your content remains with the new download.
This gives MW2 and Warzone 2.0 a fresh set of files after receiving the Dev Error 11152 message. You’ll download the game and any updates to that point. This should prevent the error from ocurring again and you’ll be free to play.
