Green Lantern inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueshows up as an early mission on the map. However, you’ll need to get through much more of the main story to face him.
Near the beginning of the game, the world map shows that Green Lantern is available to fight. However, once you show up in the location, you’re shot down by John Stewart’s green mini-guns. There’s no way to fight him at this point in the game.
In fact, you’ll need to take down The Flash first and continue with the main storyline until you enter one of Batman’s Batcaves. From here, Task Force X picks up the Yellow Lantern Battery from Batman’s former possessions. After a few more missions, you’ll have the technology to counter Green Lantern and fight him.
However, you should finish support quests to gain more tools like adding elements to your weaponry with Poison Ivy. Also,upgrade your weapons.
Before facing Green Lantern inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,selectDeadshot. As he’s psyched for the battle, you’ll gain extra XP and damage towards this devastating foe.
How to eliminate Green Lantern
Once you’ve returned to Green Lantern’s spot in the world map, you can now face him even if the game says you’re slightly outmatched (I finished all the available support quests and it still said this).
To take down Stewart’s annoying shield, you’ll have to shoot down his constructs. There’s a green meter below his health that states when his shield is up or not. Once his shield fades away, use an effective assault rifle and aim for the former hero’s head for extra damage. You’ll know you’re causing a critical hit if the numbers show yellow.
After this, you’ll start seeing bombs appear all over the arena. Don’t come into contact with them and shoot each down to cause Green Lantern’s shield to drop. Snipers will also pop up. When they’re about to shoot, they’ll glow in blue. Counter these shots as this move will instantly take down the snipers.
As he enters his second phase, Lantern will grow huge and utilize a mini-gun. Missile launchers appear next to him. Try to find cover from the mini-gun and shoot them down quickly. Continue to eliminate his constructs until the green meter is empty. It will take far longer this time around. Once that’s done, he’ll phase out of his gigantic form.
The last phase
His last resort is summoning turrets that fire lasers. Take them out like the other constructs, using the pipes as cover. More bombs will appear around him. Use Deadshot’s jetpack to outmaneuver them. It can be useful to glide and shoot as well but attempt to stay in cover when you can. Getting down to the bottom floor to allow yourself to rest is also a good option.
The green shield will go down slowly but take your time and don’t take risks. You’ll soon take down the Green Lantern inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.You’ll get atrophy or achievementfor your efforts.
