40 teams will head to Los Angeles.

After the (eventual) conclusion of the North America Regional Finals, we now have all our qualified teams for the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs.

40 teams will head to Los Angeles to compete for a share of the $1 million prize-pool. Teams will also earn ‘Playoff Points’ that will decide who qualifies for the ALGS Championship at the end of the year.

So, who is competing at the first ALGS LAN event of the year, between May 2-5.

ALGS Split 1 Playoffs: all qualified teams

ALGS Split 1 featured four separate Pro Leagues, in North America, EMEA, APAC North and APAC South. North America had 12 Playoff slots, and the other three regions had 8. Here are the teams qualified through the four Pro Leagues:

In addition to those four regions, there are four other teams heading to the event in Los Angeles. South America no longer has a Pro League, instead two teams qualified through the Challenger Circuit to book their spot at the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs.

Then, ALGS Year 4 introduced two slots for teams from China for the first time ever. These teams could not compete in the APAC South Pro League. ALGS invited these two teams specifically, and they did not go through any qualification process. They can qualify for the ALGS Championship the same as any other team.
