New Hearthstone Arena explained

The Hearthstone Arena revamp features seven runs in total. A run ends after you achieve five wins or two losses. When you first enter the new Hearthstone Arena, you must select one of three randomized classes. Next, you must choose from three buckets of cards. Blizzard calls these “Legendary Groups,” and each bucket is built around a specific legendary minion to support your drafting strategy.

Then, you get to draft the rest of your deck in typical Arena fashion. In our experiment, we selected the Priest class, opted for the Mi’da, Pure Light legendary minion, and built our deck around Dragon minions. We also included some spells to remove enemy minions just in case. This proved useful in our first match against a Warlock.

How to unlock the Underground Arena in Hearthstone

Speaking of Tavern Tickets, you need two of them to enter the Underground Arena game mode. You must also win seven times in total to unlock it. This mode lets you modify your deck with five new cards after a loss, too.

Hearthstone Arena Underground rewards

This version of Hearthstone Arena ends after 12 wins or three losses. Of course, the greater risk means greater rewards. If you get six wins or more in a run, for example, then there’s a chance of getting an extra 2,000 Gold.According to Blizzard, reaching the maximum of 12 victories results in the Spectral Ner’zhul hero skin as well.
