The alien from , well , Alien is an iconic sci - fi repulsion ogre , a wondrously scary world . But when you chibi - fi it , some of that creepiness is replace by gosh - darned prettiness — which in turn adds a whole other stratum of bizarreness . How can something be so cute and so creepy ?
The latest in Herocross ’s “ Hybrid Metal Figuration ” line of figures — which kits out miniature with random metal pieces for reason I still ca n’t quite ensure , despite owning several — will be the Alien , ground on the “ Big Chap ” design from the original Alien movie . Although only in the image stage now , the physical body looks jolly fantastic . The detailing is marvelous , and the extra cellular inclusion of indifferent and “ why yes , I am about to claw you receptive ” hand is a nice touch , and the baby facehugger bonus is a nice addition for a figure that otherwise does n’t really need many excess accessories .
It ’s nice to see Herocross coalesce what is usually a cutesy fashion into such decidedly un - cute worlds . exotic kind of equip utterly , there ’s something bizarrely delightful about seeing that human - esque skull in the head and get it look funnily precious . I think I desire a chibi Ripley to go with it!At leastthat raw Predatorwill shortly have a acquaintance to play / battle with .

He May Be Chibi , But This Predator Still await Like He Could mess up You Up
There ’s no release date for this small Big Chap just yet , but expect him to cost around $ 100 when he polish off shelves .
