Aurelion Sol immediately gets hotfix after rework deemed broken
Aurelion Sol’s rework was so good it was broken, prompting an instant hotfix from Riot Games.

Aurelion Sol has been a controversial hero for as long as he’s existed, from his initial reveal as Ao Shin, to being rebuild from the ground up pre-release, to falling to a low pick rate, and now being reworked. But unfortunately thismuch anticipated reworkcrashed and burned, being riddled with bugs, open to abuse, and eventually being disabled less than a week after release. Aurelion Sol is yet to return to the game.
