Best Dialga EX deck build in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Below is the list of cards needed for our Dialga EX deck build in Pokémon TCG Pocket:

The deck heavily revolves around Dialga EX and its ability to provide Metal Energy for Benched Pokémon. Here is a complete breakdown of the deck and the cards needed.

All Pokémon cards

To begin, we first have to start out with Dialga EX. This deck includes two of these Pokémon cards. Primarily, Dialga EX needs Metal Energy to use its moves. However, its Heavy Impact move only needs two Metal Energies, with the other two being whatever you choose,

Still, this deck only focuses on Metal Energy, meaning there are no other Energies needed.

Dialga’s other move, Metallic Turbo, which costs two Metal Energy to use, does 30 damage to opponents and attaches two Metal Energies from your Energy zone to one of your Benched Pokémon.

This move is a great way to do damage to your opponent while also building out your Bench.

Next, we included two Skarmorys. Skarmory does not necessarily have any special ability, but the Pokémon has 80 HP and only needs one Energy to perform its one attack. While the attack only does 20 damage, it can do 50 if a Pokémon Tool card is attached.

We then included two Shieldon cards and two Bastiodon cards. Shieldon evolves into Bastiodon. While Bastiodon’s attack only does 80 damage, its ability is what makes it a heavy hitter.

Whenever an attack is done on Bastiodon, you get to flip a coin. If it is heads, the Pokémon takes -100 damage.

All Trainer cards

This deck has more Trainer cards than it does actual Pokémon cards, and there is a great reason for that, too.

To begin, we included the Supporter card, Dawn. Dawn’s ability works hand-in-hand with Dialga’s. The card lets you move an Energy from one of your Benched Pokémon to one of your Active Pokémon. This means you’re able to use Dialga’s Metallic Turbo move and then take one of those Energies from your Benched Pokémon and move it onto your Dialga.

We then included the classic Sabrina and Professor’s Research, who both help out in various ways.

Pokémon Tool-wise, we added the Giant Cape. This card gives whatever Pokémon it is attached to 20 more health.

And finally, we added some Basic Trainer cards: Poké Ball and X Speed.

Weak against

This deck is weak against Fire-type Pokémon. Watch out for Infernape decks, as those will be difficult to play against in the new expansion.

Strong against

This deck does not have too many cards it is strong against. However, a few Water-type Pokémon, including Mamoswine, are weak against it.
