So , before we get to John ’s awful , no - proficient plan , let ’s talk about Zed . When last we left Zed , one of her father ’s goons had stab her with a tranquillizer and kidnapped her from the Millhouse . John ’s demon guest saves him from a prison house licking ( with a good deal of roue , of course ) . Zed pretends to be John ’s conjugal sojourn . Chas starts a fight with the guards so as to get indoors . Anne Marie habituate her bilocation to zip around , the spectral nun .
course , there ’s a raft of mistrust between Anne Marie and Constantine . After all , John has mobilize a serious demon into his body , one that could wreak havoc on the world if it takes over his body . And Anne Marie , well , she shoot John . But when push get to shove , she bring a script , even using her bilocation to create a half - nude distraction , one that play extremely well . And when it descend time to perform the exorcism after the prison flight , Anne Marie adjoin on one of Constantine ’s core themes : ego - pardon . Anne Marie must forgive herself before she can expel the daemon . It ’s one of the reasons the show is feeling more cohesive with this sequence .
We ’re also dealing with some of the eminent ups in the Rising Dark . The Brujería is sending out representatives — to bribe diplomatist ( and eat up them ) and to charm John . thing are come serious .
