Christine

Whether you’re new to HoK or striving to become the best in your region, this comprehensive guide will help you unlock Dolia’s full potential in every match.

Below are Dolia’s skills details as per August 2024 patch.

Passive - Mermaid’s Gift

Dolia takes on mermaid form while in water, reducing the slows taken by 50%, restoring 70 Health and 5 Mana every second, and dealing area damage with her Basic Attack. Her Recovery is replaced with Gift, which is used to select a teammate as the priority target for Celestial Melody.

Skill 1 - Ode

Dolia sings, unleashing 4 soundwaves that spread out around her. The first 3 deal 125 (+16% Magical Attack) magical damage and inflict a 10% slow. The 4th soundwave deals 250 (35% Magical Attack) magical damage and inflict a 50% slow for 1s.

This soundwave triggers echoes when hitting enemies, dealing 150 (+16% Magical Attack) magical damage. While in water, it stirs up a wave that knocks back enemies and stuns nearby enemies.

Honor of Kings

Echoes triggered by non-hero units have a shorter range and only deals 50% damage.

Skill 2 - Wavebreaker

Dolia leaps forward. If she lands on solid ground, she creates a pool of water and restores 300 (+40% Magical Attack) Health to her and her nearby teammates.

While in the pool, teammates' Health and Mana recover at the same rate as Dolia’s

Cooldown is reduced by 30% if used while in water.

The pool disappears if she leaves it for 4s.

Ultimate - Celestial Melody

Dolia channels for a short time, resetting the cooldown of a skill for a teammate within range. The skill that gets reset is the one with the longest remaining cooldown. In return, Dolia takes on a cooldown of 10 (120% of the current skill cooldown) seconds herself.

If the teammate does not use the reset skill, the cooldown of Celestial Melody is reduced by 20%. If the teammate uses the reset skill within 5s, it does not consume Energy, and any earnings from defeating enemies with that skill are shared evenly with Dolia.

This skill prioritizes the teammate with whom she has formed a covenant. If no teammate are nearby, she resets one of her own skills. If the reset fails, the cooldown of Celestial Melody is significantly reduced.

Playstyle

Dolia is a good initiator of team fights, because she can combine the slow and knockback from her Skill 1 with the crowd controls of other frontliners.

When put together, this gives damage dealers plenty of opportunities to unleash their skills. Skill 2’s Health and Mana recovery and the Ultimate’s cooldown reset will also help her team dish out damage.

Once the batthe gets going, she should do her best to stick close to her team’s backliners, and use Skill 1 to stop approaching enemies before launching counterattacks.

When alone, she can use the crowd control effects from Skill 1 and the mobility provided by Skill 2 to flee, and reset her own cooldowns with her Ultimate when she needs it.

Best hero combos

While Dolia’s versatile nature makes her anS+ roamer in HoKcompatible with nearlyevery hero in the game, this guide will highlight the top 5 heroes that synergize best with Dolia:

Heino

Heino’s Ultimate has the ability to turn back time, not only teleporting him back to his original position and restoring his Health, but also repairing allied tower within his field to its state from 5 seconds earlier. When combined with Dolia’s Ultimate, Heino becomes even harder to kill and can continuously restore tower.

Additionally, at Level 15, Heino’s and Dolia’s Ultimates gain a special synergy. If used consecutively, Heino can freeze all enemies and allies within his field, providing a powerful control advantage.

Marcopolo

Marcopolo is currently one of the strongest Farm Lane heroes in HoK and highly popular across all tiers. His Ultimate allows him to dash into a target location and deal significant AoE damage.

However, it can be easily interrupted by crowd control effects. With Dolia’s Ultimate, Marcopolo gets a second chance to execute his Ultimate correctly.

Lu Bu

Lu Bu’s Ultimate is a versatile tool for either engaging or disengaging in team fights, dealing massive AoE crowd control. With Dolia’s Ultimate, Lu Bu can use his Ultimate twice in quick succession, bypassing the long cooldown.

Shangguan

Shangguan is known as one of the most challenging heroes to master in HoK, mainly due to her complex combos. However, when executed correctly, her Ultimate allows her to dash 3-5 times over long distances, dealing damage while also making her untargetable.

With Dolia’s assistance, Shangguan’s Ultimate can be refreshed, making her nearly unstoppable in the hands of an expert player.

Loong

Loong’s Ultimate has one of the longest cooldowns in the game, lasting up to 80 seconds. However, Dolia’s Ultimate can instantly reset this cooldown to zero. Keep in mind that Dolia must absorb Loong’s remaining cooldown as her own, preventing her from resetting any other abilities for a long duration.
