Ben & Jerry’shas some news that will shake you to your core.
The beloved ice cream company announced on Wednesday the release of threenew ice cream flavorswith cookie dough cores:Chocolate Chip CookieDough Core, Sweet Like Sugar Cookie Dough Core and Wake & “No Bake” Cookie Dough Core.
All three pints—which feature “gobs of cookie dough running right down the middle”—are available in Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops and in retailers nationwide for $4.29-$4.99 per pint.
The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor is the most similar to the original, with cookie milk ice cream, fudge chips and a cookie dough core. The Sweet Like Sugar pint has half almond-flavored ice cream with shortbread cookies and half cherry ice cream with cherries and a sugar cookie dough core. The Wake & “No Bake” Cookie Dough flavor is made up of both vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cookies and peanut butter ice cream with fudge chips, plus a no-bake cookie dough core.

Each core is made with heat-treated flour and pasteurized egg yolks making them safe to eat.

The new cookie dough core flavors are already a hit with ice cream lovers.
“In trials, our fans clamored for the new Cookie Dough Core flavors,” flavor guru Craig Koskiniemi said in a press release.
The idea of putting a delicious mixture in the center of an ice cream pint is nothing new to Ben & Jerry’s. They alsooffer flavorswith a brownie batter core, cheesecake core, soft caramel core and peanut butter fudge core.
