Amazon’sUndoneis Back for Another Season of Animated Time Travel

Back in 2019 , Amazon releasedUndone , a reasonably trippy ( and pretty good ) animate serial publication about a young cleaning woman make Alma ( Rosa Salazar ) who bewilder into a car crash and discovered she could move through time . produce byBoJack Horseman’sKate Purdy and Raphael Bob - Waksburg , Amazon renew the show for a second season that same class , but details on it have been nonexistent until this weekend at SXSW .

For season two of Undone , Alma is once again traveling through meter , though under unlike circumstances for her second outing . Whereas the first season control her investigate the lot of her founding father ’s ( Bob Odenkirk ) death , this unexampled journeying will see her dig deeper into her whole house after looking through a portal allow for her to see something tie to her family . As it sprain out , her baby Becca ( Angelique Cabral ) also has the same ability to prison term travel , albeit with the ability to move through past memories . Though Becca ’s not too certain about her powers , Alma ’s excited to have this power in common with her sister , and her enthusiasm is enough to convince Becca to help her find response about what she saw . Their journeying throughout the season will see them take out the secrets and trauma that ’s hovered over their class for years , and also force them to confront their mother Camila ( Constance Marie ) .

The series continues its lovely rotoscope animation stylus , courtesy of Amsterdam life studio Submarine and is once again helmed by Dutch animator and director Hisko Hulsing . From the clips provided by Prime Video , the second time of year of Undone looks every morsel as compelling and emotionally burden as its debut three years ago . With Bella coming into her powers , there ’s a different energy to the show that feel reproducible while also helping it finger distinct and not a wide-eyed retread of what came before .
