And to guess the plot of ground line that demand a big human race sucking a fair sex ’s breast DRY ( an actual thing someone says on the show last night ) is only the second most revolting thing to encounter on last night ’s American Horror Story ( the first was a type violating a stagnant dead body ) Sometimes I feel like this is n’t really a show , but morbid scribblings on the last three pageboy of Freshman ’s English spiral . Gross American Horror Story , egregious .

I know what you ’re thinking : “ Meredith , what if they merely implied the breast milk drinking scene , and it ’s all innuendo ? ” Ha , ha … no . If you ’re thinking that , then clearly you ’ve been spared the revulsion that was last dark ’s installment . Because just in lawsuit you were hoping praying that this whole breast drain seduction was a goof , the show makes a point to show doer Dylan McDermott with sassing full of breast milk . extolment , American Horror Story you ’ve surpass your pilot where McDermott masturbates standing up while cry . Next week , Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk film McDermott killing a homeless man to get an hard-on . No hold , this was worse . Later on in the same episode , Zachary Quinto has sex with the dead eubstance of Clea DuVall . And do n’t worry , they flip her around and show her remains makeup so you really , really know that he ’s having sexual practice with a bushed somebody . Good line .
I do n’t really know what to say about all of this . Yes the suckling was loosely tied together with the thought that Pepper accuses Dr. Oliver Thredson of harboring towards Grace ’s boob Milk River , and later Lana feeds baby McDermott her breast milk . But what was the point ? Shock for shock time value of this order of magnitude is not only gross out , it ’s dull . Like father like son , even in chest Milk River habituation ? Ok , but why ? Why is that compelling character ribbon ? Bloody Face takes his victims ’ peel , rapes woman , makes lamps from chassis … and now hunger for the taste of breast milk ? Is this supposed to flesh out the character more ? Were the great unwashed just sit around in a elbow room , farting into a handbag until someone came up with this scenario ?
I ’m not repulsed by breast Milk River scene ( as a commenter mentioned earlier the Game Of Thrones breast Milk River scene was both insane and very eccentric revealing ) . I ’m repel by the fact that yet again another woman is being strangled for something precious she have . It seems this serial publication has break away out of ways to aggress women . We ’ve seen woman raped , murdered , injection , women being cut up , violated in their death , hit , possessed , we ’ve even seen fair sex ram pelage hangers up their vagina . Last hebdomad I wondered if the rape of Monsignor was somehow an attempt to justify the dreaded matter done to women over this season ( I truly hope not ) . And now AHS has found a whole raw room to shame and terrorize the female characters . It ’s just too much . What ’s next ? Just because you slap the word “ horror ” on something that does n’t mean I want to watch over a womanhood forced to eat her own dejection and call it dare . Make it work AHS , or do n’t do it at all .
Perhaps the bighearted letdown of this episode was that the music director , Alfonso Gomez - Rejon , shot a really beautiful sequence . “ Spilt Milk ” — which LOL OK WE GET IT , AHS — might be the funniest and most glamorous installment of the season .
Lana ’s outlet out of the columbarium , the prison term jumping shots inside Bloody Face ’s house ( past tense and present ) and the guess leading up to Jude ’s solitary cell reveal were stunning . Everything is absolutely gorgeous , from the shade of Lana ’s lipstick in Dr. Threadson ’s house to her gloved hands holding the pistol . It was well craft , well spruced up and attractively shot . It ’s a pity the only thing I ’m live to recall is McDermott ’s oral cavity full of milk and Threadson thrusting into a dead body . And that scene where Lana is basically forced to tit feed the babe she did n’t need , that ’s sinewy . Her helping hand in the air , face turned to the dusty rood-tree that was a brutal moment . You do n’t involve the early shock value shots to make this moment work . It works , well .
Plus , REAL thing WERE HAPPENING . Lana got out , and look bad ass doing so . Shortly after she fetch her revenge and cry for the demise of her devotee Wendy for a hot minute , she began changing . Lana has received the eclat she so urgently wanted and we adored watch her turn into a young form of monster . Back in Braircliff , we get word that Grace is full of alien baby . alien and abduction are supposedly something the Almighty of this show find deeply terrifying . Perhaps they should look out more X - Files — because none of what was reveal through Grace ’s story was all that chilling .
We also find out that Alma was still alive , and we wager every last centime we own Grace end up hacking Alma to bits with an ax . And Jude was left in a cell to rot by her dear Monsignor . congratulations to Jessica Lange on her insensate , crazy delivery : “ MY GOD would n’t allow it . ” That was an excellent prospect .
In fact , most of this episode was amazing . But the pointless shock tactics outweigh all the hard work the rest of the instalment was doing for me . Do n’t get me incorrect — I love crazy . Hell , I hump Lana doing a DEAL WITH IT take the air of shame through a graveyard , and I love Sister Jude writhing around to “ have it away Potion Number 9 . ” But if you ’re run to make a character that no one founder a damn about lap up breast milk , make it matter .

UPDATE : Forgot to bring up , the Candyman euphony in this episode was all and completely amazing . It took me a few moment to see it out , but once it originate I was clap with joy . Great choice .
